Now you saw them - Now you don't
I saw a short story on ABC news tonight about a photographer, David Arnold, who took pictures of glaciers in Alaska - capturing the same sites as Bradford Washburn did in 1939.
I think the photos say it all. The first is Washburn's, the second is Arnold's:

While he's "not a scientist," Arnold said the photographs taught him a lesson about global warming. "I have got eyes and that's all you need," he said. "I think the viewer can figure it out for themselves and it depoliticizes the whole issue of global warming."
